Human DNA in Animals
•November 10, 2009 • Leave a CommentBritish scientists begin a new study on Tuesday to consider how human DNA is used in animal experiments and to determine what the boundaries of such controversial science might be. Though experts have been swapping human and animal DNA for years – like replacing animal genes with human genes or growing human organs in animals – scientists at the Academy of Medical Sciences want to make sure the public is aware of what is happening in laboratories before proceeding further.
“It sounds yucky, but it may be well worth doing if it’s going to lead to a cure for something horrible,” said Robin Lovell-Badge, a stem cell expert at Britain’s National Institute for Medical Research, and a member of the group conducting the study.
The article goes on to mention growing “human embroys” in empty cow and rabbit eggs and destroying them. It also touches on the fear people have about giving animals human brain cells.

Dismantling America
•October 30, 2009 • Leave a CommentThomas Sowell wrote this – Part 2 is the focus of my comments, and it is a stunning look into the minds of the supporters of the current administration. There are deeper implications though: in a nation that is abandoning God, there is left a vacuum. People are desparate to fill that sense of emptiness, and the false hope offered by what we think we can achieve on our own is left to fill it. With disasterous results, we can be sure.
There is a new religion: it is difficult yet to put a finger on it exactly since it is still forming, but I think it is the ungodly rebirth of the false religions of the past and present that will come together in a very bitter stew of pseudo self-empowerment. (You can count on our new ruling class as the authority that has a mind to take the place of God in the people’s hearts.) This religion will be served by the ladel-full to willing nations who cling to the front of green and socialistic movements, and eventually forcefed to all when the system of control is in place. Then the nasty aftertaste…
Here are both parts of Mr. Sowell’s piece:
Part 2 – “M
Hate crimes law – ungodly, unconstitutional, unnecessary
•October 30, 2009 • Leave a CommentA Christian evangelist who was once arrested, jailed, and charged under Pennsylvania’s hate crimes law says the federal hate crimes bill signed into law by President Obama is one of the most dangerous laws in the history of the United States.
With the stroke of President Obama’s pen yesterday, the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act became law. It creates additional penalties for violent crimes motivated by the victim’s “actual or perceived” gender, “gender identity,” sexual orientation, or disability.
Michael Marcavage, director of Philadelphia-based Repent America, was one of 11 Christians who were jailed and charged with a hate crime for carrying Bible verse banners and preaching at a 2004 homosexual pride event in Philadelphia. The charges were later dismissed — and in 2008, the state’s Supreme Court ruled the law had been passed illegally by the Pennsylvania legislature.
Marcavage says the new federal hate crimes law is yet another move by the federal government to “silence Christians.”
“What this bill does is [seek] to shut down those who dare to speak against the sin of homosexuality with the hope and freedom that is found in Jesus Christ,” says the Christian activist.
